We normally charge €500 including VAT for detailing, polishing, the listing and other preparation. An individually agreed commission, either a fixed amount or a percentage, is added. The full commission is due only after a successful sale.
The agreed listing period is at least three months. If you end the service before these three months have elapsed, 50% of the agreed commission plus the €500 preparation fee (including VAT) applies. For a percentage-based commission, this share is calculated using the vehicle value agreed together.
An online enquiry does not appoint us to sell your vehicle.
Questions about our selling service
How is this different from a direct sale?
In a direct sale, Car4Life buys your car. With this service, we find a buyer and handle the sales process on your behalf.
What does the service cost?
We normally charge €500 including VAT for detailing, polishing, the listing and other preparation. Depending on the vehicle, we also agree a fixed commission or a percentage. We receive the full commission only after a successful vehicle sale. The specific terms are discussed before you instruct us.
Which vehicles and locations are suitable?
We focus on premium and luxury vehicles, sports cars, supercars and exotics. Your region is not a deciding factor. Introduce your vehicle and we will discuss the service with you personally.
Does the car have to stay with Car4Life?
The vehicle can remain in your garage and can be driven during the selling process. Once an appointment is arranged, you bring the vehicle to Car4Life. It does not have to stay with us throughout.
How long will my vehicle be listed?
We agree a listing period of at least three months. This is not a guarantee that the vehicle will sell within that period.
What if I end the service early?
If you withdraw the vehicle before the three months have elapsed, half of the agreed commission plus the €500 fee (including VAT) for detailing, polishing, the listing and other preparation applies. We agree the specific commission before you instruct us. For a percentage-based commission, this share is calculated using the vehicle value agreed together.
